My name is Felicia Bottos, a.k.a. bottos designs, and I’m a Toronto based creative who can’t resist the call of adventure—because travel is where my creativity thrives. I have a keen eye for detail and passion for
bridging the gap between creativity and data driven strategies in the ever-evolving
digital marketing landscape. Social
media never sleeps, and neither do I. I’m constantly online staying up to date
with the latest trends and using digital platforms to connect with and engage audiences
in real time.
Specializing in social media strategy, content creation, and
community engagement, I am
dedicated to creating compelling visuals and content that enhances brand
identity and delivers impactful digital experiences. With a focus on
continuous learning and innovation, I’m constantly seeking fresh ways to connect brands with their audiences in the digital world. I find a lot of value within creative processes
and design iterations. I appreciate the beauty and challenges in every step of
the journey that it takes to achieve the end results.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from
OCAD University, where I sharpened my skills in visual communication and design
principles. This foundation has been invaluable in crafting engaging digital
content that resonates with diverse audiences.
At Zenergy Communications, I take on various roles, allowing
me to oversee, manage, and execute campaigns with a full circle approach. By
ensuring meticulous attention to details and cohesive marketing materials, I
have developed a strong foundation in marketing and social media strategies.
From crafting captivating campaigns to executing audits, analyzing data, and
conducting competitive research, I have gained the skills necessary to navigate
the digital marketing landscape.
My experience in customer service through retail has
strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, resolve issues quickly, and
provide exceptional service that builds lasting relationships.
Beyond my professional endeavours, I enjoy creating and
sharing content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube where I continue to
refine my storytelling abilities and provide fresh perspectives that I
integrate into my work. I have found a passion for junk journaling, which is a form
of journaling that involves using a variety of recycled, repurposed, and found
materials to create unique, personalized journal spreads, similar to
scrapbooking. I enjoy the creative freedom it
allows, as there are no rules and endless possibilities of what you can do and
create. I am a bit of a perfectionist, so junk journalling allows me to be
completely free from that mindset. Having an outlet to be creative without
rules or meticulous attention to detail is important to me. It’s a space where
I can experiment and play with my creativity. I was interviewed for a CBC Arts
article, where I discussed my passion for junk journaling and how I got into
it.
